Dude Looks Like A Matey

Being in New York City has it's advantages when it comes to exposure for our adoption animals.  We are very fortunate to get some great opportunities.  In one such case, we were invited to a certain news channel with a bunch of dogs to help them celebrate Take Your Dog To Work Day.

One of the dogs that came with us was Little Man and the stars aligned that day - an employee there saw him, went through our adoption process, and it all worked out!  He recently shared an update on his blog, Daddy Knows Less, and we wanted to share it with you!

For some laughs and perhaps some tears (OK, we cried!), please go ahead and read all about Little Man, A.K.A. Matey, and his new life here: http://daddyknowsless.blogspot.com/2013/04/dude-looks-like-matey.html

We wish him & Luna and his new family the best and can't say how much we enjoyed reading this!

Larry

Larry continues to do well in his new home. He is really starting to interact with me more. He has yet to win over his little sister, Xena, but he will get there! He loves his pillow on the window sill a lot, and has been sunbathing there all weekend!

Thank you for taking such good care of Larry!
We are having a great time in his new home.

From The Farm

Dear HSNY,

It was 8 years ago today that we adopted "Spencer" from the Humane Society on 59th St.  Since then he has spent every day chasing deer, geese and squirrels and just about anything that threatens his domain.  He has been a blessing and I am happy to say that contrary to what the dog psychiatrist warned when we adopted him, he has become the most loving and affectionate dog we've ever had.  Below is a shot after a day of patrolling the farm. He is the king of Doodletown Farm, our protector and our great friend.

We can never thank you enough for putting us together eight years ago.
