We were thrilled when bonded brother and sister, Junjo and Althea, were adopted together from the Humane Society of New York's Vladimir Horowitz and Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center. Musically inclined, they LOVE their new DJ life, hanging out,
getting into mischief and deciding what record to play next. What's not to love??!! & we are thrilled!!

Catsby + Chelsea (now Miso!) go home together! :-D
Hi!
I wanted to give you guys an update on Catsby and Miso
(Chelsea)! They're adjusting well to the apartment and have already gotten
comfortable enough to eat and use the litter box.
After just a few hours, Catsby was out exploring and looking
for attention and he loves to follow me around the apartment walking on my
feet. Miso is still a little shy with people, but seeing Catsby running around
brings her out and she can't resist the cat toys!
Here are some pictures of them:

Ollie Oop and His Awesome New Home!
It has been 6 months since Paddy (now Ollie Oop) has been adopted. He has settled beautifully in his new home and has gotten into his
regular routine. He has a good appetite, plays for hours with his toys, sits at
the window to watch the birds and loves to watch Cat TV. What a friendly,
lovable and gentle soul! We are thrilled he was adopted to such a wonderful home.

Bella @home - Happy & Busy!! :-D
July 13, 2016
Dear Humane Society of New York,
Today is the one-year anniversary of the day we adopted Bella, and we thought the best way to celebrate would be to send a donation to the wonderful organization that saved her twice.
Bella has had a very busy year. Most exciting is her recent AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. We’re so proud of her. Next, she’ll work on her Therapy Dog International certification so she can visit nursing homes through a Pet Assisted Therapy program. She’s been introduced to a lot of new experiences and is a real trooper.
Thank you again,
Kim and Greg

Muffin - who is now Nina!!! 1 Year later... :-D
Hello
everyone at the Humane Society of New York
We
are coming up on 1 year that Nina, nee Muffin, is with us, and we have all
settled into a wonderful routine. She
tells us what to do, and we do it ;)
She
is loving, curious, open and engaging - she loves our friends, and insists on
being a part of everything that is happening in our home, which is just fine
with us! We adore her, and I’m happy to say I think she’s decided to keep us.
Here
is the latest —
Yes,
she’s sitting exactly where she should NOT be sitting, and yes, she knows it --
And
yes, she’s enormous, like Serena Williams - 15 pounds of pure muscle and
incredibly athletic. She’s also a snuggler which means I wake up most mornings
with 15 pounds of feline dead-weight on top of me, sound asleep and snoring.
we’re
sending you all our best
Nancy
and Rob

Lennon (the cat) Update!!!
Hi there,
I wanted to send some pics of my little furry buddy Lennon.
From the moment of adoption, he has been a joy. I have never met a cat with
such a happy disposition. He makes me smile from the moment we get up each
morning. He is well behaved and gets along so well with his brother. He may be
part dog because all of a sudden one day, he started fetching and now he is
obsessed with it. I feel so lucky to have found this little guy and welcomed
him into my home.
The Humane Society of New York says - thank you so much for adopting Lennon from HSNY and giving him the "purrfect" home!!
